T-shirt research guide

T-Shirts: sizing, QC checks, prices, and evidence

T-shirts look simple, but small differences in shoulder width, body length, fabric weight, and print placement strongly affect fit. A clear size chart and flat QC photos are more useful than the stated S–XL label.

Recorded price snapshot

CNY 49–139 across 9 checked listings

The median recorded item price is CNY 89. These are source-page prices captured on September 2, 2026, before domestic freight, agent fees, international shipping, tax, or currency conversion. They are not live quotes.

How to use the range

Compare like with like

A low price is not a quality score. Compare items with similar materials, construction, dimensions, and available QC evidence, then recheck the destination page before acting.

Sizing: check the shape as well as the size

Compare pit-to-pit width, shoulder width, body length, and sleeve opening with a well-fitting T-shirt.
Boxy and oversized cuts need different target measurements from a regular fit; do not compare labels alone.
Allow for cotton shrinkage when the seller does not state whether the fabric is pre-shrunk.

Category-specific QC points

Check that the neck rib sits flat and that shoulder and side seams are not twisting.
Measure graphic position from the collar and side seams; inspect edges for blur, cracking, or incomplete ink.
Look for fabric show-through, stains, needle holes, puckering, and uneven sleeve openings.

Common quality problems

Body length or shoulder width unlike the advertised fit
Thin fabric and visible underlayers
Off-centre graphics or inconsistent print scale
Wavy collars, twisted seams, or shrinkage after washing

A practical filtering method

Start with the cut you want, then narrow by measurements and only then compare price.
Prefer QC sets that show the whole shirt laid flat plus a close-up of the print and collar.
Treat colour under warehouse lights as approximate and look across several buyer sets for consistency.

How the evidence changes the comparison

These are examples from the checked source-page set, not customer purchase outcomes. The QC count shows how many buyer photo sets were visible when reviewed; it does not guarantee the next item or prove authenticity.

CNY 89 10 buyer QC sets

Corteiz CRTZ Black Safety Pin T-Shirt

Why retained: Selected because ten QC sets provide unusually strong evidence for the safety-pin graphic, black fabric, collar shape, and print consistency.

What still needs checking: Chest width, length, fabric weight, print placement, and color can differ from the listing. Check garment measurements and the latest QC set. StreetStyle QC is third-party visual evidence, not an authenticity guarantee.

Why we selected it

Selected because the navy base and front graphic can be checked in one current QC set, especially for print scale and placement.
